Moved to Kelowna from Vancouver in 1970. Worked at Western Star Trucks for 26 years before they did me a favour. Now I'm having a ball, live alone, have two great married sons and daughter in laws a beautiful grandaughter Isabella and a new grandson Diego who all live close by. Update......no longer living alone. I've met a beautiful lady who has everything except good taste in men!

Nov. 7...... Got out in the kayak around 9am and paddled for about an hour and a half. It seemed pretty stable although not as responsive as the one I have at home. I didn't try out the pedals as the water around the mangrove islands is very shallow. One of the islands is a bird sanctuary and home to a lot of brown pelicans which are endangered, cormorants, and herons. There was also a 30' sailboat washed up on shore in the mangroves. Gerry this would be a good little fixer upper for you. The only other thing I saw were a couple of horshoe crabs getting it on (I didn't watch). Next time I'll put my camera in a waterproof bag and get some pictures (not of the crabs doing the deed unless specifically requested. ) Sorry I've been unable to attach pictures to these blogs. Don't know what the problem is but it's sure not for lack of trying.
